Ode To Spring | Pastel Inspiration To Welcome the Season
With Easter on the early side this year, and many cold days ahead, it may seem a little premature to try to coax out the tulips but doesn’t everyone just love spring? Pastels may be associated with this time of year (and infants and macarons), but they always have a place in decor. Soft hues are a warm compliment to any room. When done well, pinks, seafoam, pale blues and baby yellows, any light derivative has the ability to inspire calm and a welcoming feeling. While often pastels are accented and framed with white, try ivories, creams or even pale neutrals like grey or taupe to blend instead of simply contrasting when it comes to ceilings, trim and furnishings. Here are some inviting scenes to inspire as you warm up to spring.
