Garden Party | Beautiful Summer Planters
I love planters. They’re like moveable micro gardens. We can put them wherever we feel like a hit of green – and the best part is – they’re easily relocated and we get to switch them up on a whim. The front door is a natural place to think of urns but don’t neglect pool side, the deck and the dock. Think outside the box (or the planter as the case may be). Long grasses, palms, boxwood, rubber tree, banana leaf, ferns. Spring plantings like daffodils and tulips, while always so exciting as we replace the dogwood and birch and other holiday trimmings, are short lived. For the rest of the summer it’s time to find some options that require a little less work and give us a longer shelf life so we can spend time on more vacation worthy pursuits. Here’s a little inspiration to keep in mind before you hit the nursery.
