Organic Chemistry | How Does Your Garden Grow?
There’s been a little bit of a green revolution of sorts in our house. What started out as some herbs and a few tomato plants has become a family affair. Choosing what to plant, seeding, watering, watching and cultivating. Family dinners have a whole new dimension. There is great satisfaction in reaping what you have sown. Nothing says summer like asparagus, fresh greens, rhubarb pies and sliced tomato – still warm from the sunshine. Roasted cauliflower soup with buttered croutons and a gorgeous greens salad, simply dressed, may go down as one of our favourite meals of this summer. We’re really enjoying this new ritual. Loving the slower heartbeat of summer. Finding our rhythms and going with the flow.
