Zinc Supplements: The Essential Mineral For The Home
Zinc is a lustrous bluish-white metal. Almost chalky in appearance. When I think of zinc, I think of France – the patina of the reclaimed material adding depth to a neutral scheme – so chic against linens and airy backdrops. Repurposing, recycling and reusing continues to be on trend and zinc is that perfect blend of old and new. It lends an industrial and durable element – the perfect foil against wood and glass and greenery. There are so many ways to incorporate zinc into your space – planters, sinks, table or counter tops, accessories and lighting. Slightly warmer than stainless steel, though softer and more prone to scratching and wear, zinc is popular in bars and restaurants for its’ natural anti-bacterial quality. It definitely has a timeless appeal whether you’re feathering a country retreat or a modern loft.
