Anne Hepfer

I love India!

They say if you are going to drive in India you require three things:  good brakes, a good horn, and good luck! Having just returned from an absolutely life changing trip to India, Toronto traffic is practically a Sunday drive in the country by comparison. Perhaps by virtue of the density of the population, it’s not a wonder that we continually remarked on how kind, how peaceful and how engaging everyone is, never raising a voice or getting upset, even in the most ridiculous of traffic jams. I know that  it will take me a very long time to truly absorb everything I saw and experienced on our trip. India has made an indelible impression on my soul. The sounds, sights, scents and people are like nowhere I have ever had the good fortune to visit. I tried to bring the whole of our experience home in photos, but here are just a few that try to capture the sheer joy of colour that greeted us everywhere we turned.
